Outfits
Have 3-5 looks picked out he night before along with your shoes and accessories. Be your own fashion blogger by choosing outfits that are cohesive with your theme. If you don’t have anything that you think would suit your look, it’s a good idea to check out places like StyleWe that offer a range of gorgeous clothes are super decent prices.

Makeup & Hair
Depending on your look, your hair and makeup should follow suit. Check Pinterest or beauty bloggers for awesome looks you like that fit your theme. If you are not comfortable doing your own, either ask a friend that’s good at it or go for a professional. Either way, make sure you bring inspiration photos of your look and be ready to readjust based on your theme and outfit.
Poses
To get ideas for poses, first get inspiration from photographer portfolios online, or Pinterest. Then talk about it with your partner to see what you both are comfortable with and discuss it over with the photographer.
Props
If you need to bring in items to formulate your theme, see with your photographer how they can fit into the photos. Sometimes it’s the photographer that will suggest that certain items would be great in your photos depending on the concept.
To get them, you can scour your belongings or those of friends or family. You can also buy them or rent them. It also depends on your location, they might have what you need available. The photographer can do the same on their end. Note however that they may charge extra if they need to rent it, buy it, or they may have a policy that additional items have an associated fee.
Location
Usually a photographer will help you pinpoint a location inspired of your theme as they tend to be familiar with areas around the city given the nature of their work. You’ll want to visit it to make sure it fits the vision of your engagement photo shoot.
Time & Date
Set your time and date with your photographer.
