3 Ways to Make Your Wedding Bands Stand Out

March 12, 2022 · Fashion, Style tips

Your wedding day will be one of the biggest days of your life. The wedding bands that adorn yours and your spouse’s fingers will be the symbol that shows everyone your eternal devotion to one another. So naturally, you want them to stand out for all to see. In this regard, here are 3 ways to make your wedding bands the stars of the show.

Making Unique Wedding Bands

Wedding bands don’t have to be traditional, simple or plain like they once were. They can, and indeed should be, a representation of your love for each other. Nowadays, finding a way to have your own custom ring made is fairly easy. Whether you want the best that money can possibly buy or just something simple yet eye-catching, there are an endless number of styles that you can choose to truly make your wedding ring your own.

You can even make your own ring at home if you’re crafty and like a bit of woodwork. Your wedding bands don’t need to be cast from the finest metals and adorned with the most priceless jewels unless that is what you want. You can have a gorgeous ring made of wood and engraved with the most beautiful designs that your imagination can come up with. Online services are also available, where you can create your own wedding ring that perfectly partners with your engagement ring and allows you to customise every single tiny detail.

Turn Your Ring Into a Pendant

Maybe you don’t like wearing rings, they always feel uncomfortable or the idea of constantly wearing one is a little off-putting. But who said you have to wear your wedding ring on your finger?

Have your ring turned into a pendant or necklace to wear around your neck so that it still stands out and can be worn with pride. Even a simple but elegant chain put through the ring can turn it into some beautiful neckwear. But, if you need something more, why not go all the way and transform it into something outstanding? There are so many different ways that you can repurpose a wedding ring and transform it into something completely new, yet still retain the love that’s symbolised within it.

Opt for Matching Engagement and Wedding Rings

It may seem obvious when you think about it, but most couples get wedding bands that are completely different from their engagement rings. But what if you’ve developed a sincere affection for your engagement ring? It is likely already an absolutely stunning piece of jewellery. You may not want to ruin its appearance by adding a wedding ring. The simple solution is actually twofold. There’s nothing stopping you from getting a wedding band that matches your engagement ring, especially if it was one of the most beautifully crafted rings you’ve ever seen in your life. In that case, look at a bridal set, a matching wedding and engagement ring. It’s common to get both rings at the same time when going down this road. Make sure all parties
involved know what they want.

The Gist of it

When selecting wedding bands, you don’t have to opt for the traditional. There are ways of making it more exciting by choosing unique rings, wearing them as a pendant or finding a matching a set. Put thought and consideration in it as it is a piece for life that you will carry with you.

The Trucker convoy is still going strong and sprea The Trucker convoy is still going strong and spreading around the world. The trump cheerleaders found themselves another excuse to occupy institutional buildings and the cities that house them. While I too am fed up of the mandates, I don’t believe their plights are justified. Yes it’s frustrating the flip flop between closures and reopening, and while they are implemented at times to limit the spread as to alleviate the strain on the healthcare system, as annoying as they are, I don’t think it’s a reason to be shouting freedom on parliament hill, harassing residents or blatantly displaying racist symbols and rhetoric. For the most part, mandates are not stopping anyone from living, going out, even travelling! They’re a temporary inconvenience to our daily lives, but in due time, will be lifted as COVID becomes more manageable. This isn’t the worlds first go around at a pandemic. Each round takes time to return things back to normal…Just go back to 1918 to see what happened…were those public health measures still in effect 5 or 10 years later?? My heart goes out to businesses and employees whose livelihoods have suffered, especially as gov assistance winds down. But like all trends, major events force humanity to readapt (think automation). Vacancy rate has been at an all time high and unemployment back to pre-pandemic levels, proof that many employees and businesses have retooled and transformed. If those convoys feel strongly about protesting, they should protest for healthcare reform. Canada is ranking as the worst in the G7 for healthcare. Our system is riddled with administrators, not enough doctors or nurses. Caps are put in residency spots and foreign trained healthcare workers waste expertise on low-skilled work as they’re deemed “not good enough” to work in the Canadian healthcare system…now that’s something worth shouting freedom for! Swipe left for more.
