The same can be said for the more seasoned of us. So I wanted to put the latest ones together and give you an overview of the ones that may be worth your while.
Healthy Meal Trends To Follow
In the world of healthy eating, there is always some new discovery researchers have made and that the biggest celebs are swearing by. Endorsement is great, but in the end, we all want results. Achieving a healthy lifestyle isn’t going to be based on 1 thing you do. Like anything else in life, it is a combination of changes you make that bring you to your goal. Each piece alone, even if done religiously does not get you there. That’s something many of us miss. Of the options below, it is always best to choose a few you can work with to get you to where you want to be.
Cannabidiol (CBD) Edibles
With the legalization and rising popularity of recreational cannabis in Canada and parts of the US, CBD edibles have moved well beyond pot brownies. Top chefs are infusing it in everything from baked goods to grass-fed butter to fine dining favourites like emulsions, purées and cooked meat. Many people are finding relief from anxiety, pain and other ailments with CBD. More studies are needed to confirm the safety and benefit of long-term use.
Medicinal Herbs
Medicinal mushrooms, spices and herbs will never, ever go out of style. Basic herbs and spices will also be complemented by some of the potent culinary herbs like mushroom powders (chaga, reishi, etc.), matcha, lavender, ashwagandha, goji berries and maca. You can sneak them into smoothies, soups, stews and cooked grains by brewing them up as teas and using the liquid in your recipes.

Organic cocktails,We’re talking cocktails with real booze here, not mocktails. Alcohol is taboo in the health field. It can be beneficial as long as you are choosy about the quality and type of what you sip. Organic wine and spirits, in moderation, can be wonderful in tinctures, incorporated into kombucha cocktails or mixed into homemade syrups.

Grill Basket
More backyard grills are becoming an extension of the kitchen. There is little you can’t cook on a backyard grill, and a grill basket makes it easier to expand your menu of barbecued foods. The grill basket is ideal for cooking veggies, French fries or chicken wings — without the addition of oil.
The CharBroil Cookbook has 300 mouth-watering recipes for hamburgers, drumsticks, kebabs, chops, fajitas, wings, deep-fried turkey, and more. All with easy steps to follow that will ensure you get the best use out of your grill.
Himalayan Salt Block
Long gone are the days when food has to be placed right on the grill. Himalayan salt is rich in minerals, and cooking on a salt block delivers subtle salt flavours to your meals — but with less actual salt used, thereby reducing your sodium intake. Use it to sear meats, grill veggies or cook delicate foods like fish. What’s more, it can go from the grill directly to the table, doubling as a décor-friendly serving platter.
Thermometer
Knowing the internal temperature of the food on the grill is imperative to ensuring your meals are cooked to perfection. The Accu-Probe Bluetooth Thermometer not only has the capability of tracking the temperature of four foods at the same time, it will send a notification to your phone when the meat has reached its desired temperature.
Coffee
Not only does it give you a good kick to start your day, coffee has so many benefits to it. Caffeine can improve energy levels and make you smarter. It helps you burn fat by speeding up your metabolism by 3-11%. Physical performance can also increase with coffee intake by stimulating the nervous system and increasing adrenaline levels.
