Like all other bloggers, I don’t tend to particularly follow the “trends.” In fact, if you were to ask me what’s hot and what’s not, I’d say “Wear what YOU think is trendy and looks good on you.”
That doesn’t mean I won’t get inspired from current trends out there. In fact, whenever I’m on Pinterest or Insta, I’ll see what other fashionistas are up to in terms of styles and take a cue or two from them. This is the case for the summer outfits I’m about to show you.
Instagram Inspired Summer Outfits
These were styles I fell in love with upon browsing some influencers and celebs insta accounts.
Tall Lace-up Peep Toe Boots
It all started with thigh high boots, and evolved into peep toed lace-up boots.
Off-the-shoulder Bodycon Dress
the off the shoulder trend has been a great hit in the last few seasons, and there is no sign of it slowing down.
Bandage Bodycon Dress
The bandage bodycon dress was made famous by Herver Leger who essentially learned it and re-appropriated it from Azzedine Alaia in the 1980s.
High Heeled Gladiator Boots
While gladiator sandals have been around since Ancient Greece, high heeled gladiator boots were made famous by Chanel in the summer of 2015.
Keep Your Legs Ready
Wearing these trends requires to have your skin prepped to be showed off. A set of products I’ve recently been using to get the dead skin off the surface so my legs can be soft and glowing are the Beautitude. It’s got:
- Lemonade dead sea salt scrub that hydrate and tighten dry skin, and reduces the look of cellulite.
- Raw sugar body scrub to brighten and moisturize, revive dull skin, and treat acne scars and other skin imperfections.
- Bath salts to relax and calm your skin so it can feel firmer, more toned, and moisturized.
- Soothing and natural Bath Salt that will help your skin feel firm, toned, and moisturized.
- Body oil with vitamins A & E to moisturize your skin, keep it soft and hydrated all day.
The Gist of it
These Instagram hits will definitely get your page rocking this summer as they enhance your assets and keep you on trend. Would you wear these styles?
