Last week I had some fun bringing you some Celebrity trending Halloween costumes for under $35. This week I’m excited about these DIY Halloween decorations that are raging on Pinterest, and are also pretty easy to make and freaky to look at.
DIY Halloween Decorations

#1 – Floating Candles
Based on a Harry Potter scene, these floating candles DIY Halloween decorations idea comes from a Russian website. You may not be able to read unless you’re fluent in the language or hit Google translate, the image are pretty indicative of what you need to do.
#2 – Skull Candle Holder
Endlessly inspired had this amazing idea 2 years ago to do a 31 days of Halloween. I find that such an inspirational series to get you all excited for Halloween. On Day 21, she cooked up this DIY Halloween Decorations idea, the skull candle holder.
You can get bag of 12 plastic skulls to create the candle holder and then use the others for other DIY Halloween decorations or simply to add them around the house.
For the spray paint, go with this Rust Oleum American Accents Ultra Cover 2X spray paint in flat black for less than $4.
#3 – Skull Wreath
If this skull wreath from Tried and True Blog doesn’t chill your bones as you knock on the door to collect your treats, I don’t know what will. It’s scary and pretty at the same time.
You can get a bag for $10! That’s a scaaaary steaaaal!
Here’s a great deal for a regular black spray paint that’s less than $4 as well, Rust-Oleum satin enamel spray paint.
#4 – Flying Bats Wall
Birds flying is so peaceful and beautiful. That’s not Halloween-ish though. So Made Everyday With Dana had as a bright DIY Halloween decorations idea for her wall, flying bats! Easy to recreate and will definitely get a reaction of the trick or treaters.
#5 – Apothecary Bottle Labels
Get some freak on at home with these scary apothecary bottles labeled these printable vintage labels from World Label Blog. These will truly set the scene in your home especially as you great little ones looking for some goodies.

The Jest of it
DIY Halloween decorations don’t have to be complicated to have a fun and very scary impact. Try a couple this season that you can keep for next year. The next round you can create others to add to your collection.
