I know for some of you school has already started. I definitely don’t envy your kids. For us here in Canada, we have until the last wee of August to the first week of September before the bell rings. So what is it that you’ll need as back to school essentials?
Back to School Essentials to Survive This Fall
#1 – On-ear Headphones

Rebel BT On-Ear Headphones from House of Marley have a signature sound that conveys smooth, powerful bass. This item from my back to school essentials has custom engineering and tuning mean that you can finally hear your music as your favourite artists intended.

It delivers comfort with bluetooth technology at an affordable price. The 8 hours of continuous wireless play keeps your soundtrack queued up all day while the in-line microphone with a 1-button remote has you covered when you need to plug in. Press play, and get ready for the wireless revolution.

Using responsibly-sourced materials, such as cotton and canvas textiles, recyclable metals, bamboo and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified woods.
#2 – Compression Socks
Another important item off of my back to school essentials as compression socks. Leg and lower body fatigue often results from a lack of circulation caused by standing or sitting for extended periods, long flights, pregnancy and other everyday situations that cause blood to pool in the lower body.

Athletes have long known the value of graduated compression socks to help enhance leg energy, and relieve pain and fatigue by stimulating blood circulation.

Daily wear of compression socks can help increase energy levels and reduce leg swelling, tiredness and pain. More energy and less pain increase general health and performance. Thermo-insulating properties help keep feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Now everyone can share in those benefits. If you’re looking for a brand that will not only help your legs feel better, but look super stylish, Spresso socks has a great range in all colours and prints. Their perfect-fit, non-binding comfort top helps the socks stay up and eliminate pinching.
If you’re wondering where my sunglasses are from, they are Givenchy I got from Smart Buy Glasses.
#3 – Gothic Lipstick
If you check the latest trends in fashion, makeup, hair, you know the nineties are back. Grunge, gothic, and supermodels were all part of that era. To pay tribute to goth, Milani created their Fearless 70 matte lipstick in a dark berry colour.
It’s a very avant-guard colour but definitely worth a try with a trendy fall outfit and sexy heels.
#4 – At Home Dry Cleaner Kit
An at-home dry cleaner kit is helpful to get your clothes cleaned easily, without damaging them or paying a hefty price. It gently cleans your special care clothes. Perfect for hand washables, fine fabrics and dry clean only items with 30 minutes in the dryer. Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaner Starter Kit is a great option you can check out:
- It’s got no harsh chemicals.
- Environmentally friendly with biodegradable cleaning agents.
- No fading.
- No shrinking.
- No stretching.
- Works in all dryers including high efficiency.
The kit includes reusable fabric protection bag and 4 cloths, with booster spray.

I am training for a marathon right now and a ton of the people in my pace group have compression socks! I was actually thinking about getting a pair. I didn’t know they sold stylish ones like yours that you could wear if you’re standing for long periods, etc.! Interesting!!

I love dark lip stick but I have never tried it! It is one of those things I love but I am kinda of afraid of how it would look on me!
The Wardrobe Stylist says
I know what you mean. I was the same way until I found out how you can wear them to make them last and what to wear them with. Most importantly, is being confident as you have it on.

These are really interesting back to school items! I would have never thought of some of these but they are definitely useful for back to school!
