Decorating a nursery can be stressful, especially for first time parents. Whether it’s ensuring you have everything to protect your baby, keep them happy, or soothed, it can be overwhelming. As you get the necessities sorted out, I’ll be giving you ideas to deck out your nursery wall decor to keep your baby smiling.
Nursery Wall Decor Ideas
#1 Canvas Art
Canvas art is a straight forward option to show off your nursery wall decor. You can pick some based on the theme and colours of the bedroom.
#2 Baby Canvas Collage
This is probably one of the easiest and cheapest ways to start working on your nursery wall decor. A baby collage canvas is a great way to showcase your favourite photos and elements of your baby’s most precious moments.
#3 Personalized Canvas Art
Another way of decking your nursery wall decor and to customize your baby’s room is with personalized canvas art. IQ Design.
You can have your baby’s date of birth, weight, name, letter, date, time, and hospital.
#4 Wall Decals
Wall decals really transform a room. They are a easy to install, cheaper than wall paper, and way less work. I know that because I have some a little bit everywhere around my house.
If you’re feeling brave, you can always DIY them and paint them on the wall or cut them out of contact paper to stick as your nursery wall decor. Handmade Charlotte has a great tutorial about it.
#5 Shelves
Shelves are practical and decorative at the same time. Put decor items, books, toys, whatever you think will inspire your little babe and that you can use while changing or playing with your baby.
If you have some extra shelves, you can create some rustic looking ones with A Shade of Teal‘s awesome tutorial
#6 Flag Banner
One fun way to give some grooviness to your nursery wall decor is by adding some banner flags. They literally work for anything and are especially cute for baby rooms
They’re also an easy DIY project. Check out this one from Brooklyn Lime Stone.
The Gist of It

Love these wall decor ideas. We decorated our nursery fairly neutral, we were having a “surprise” and we also didn’t have a big budget for extravagant decor. We found a brilliant range of nursery accessories which had some really eye catching wall art and wall stickers which look fantastic. https://goo.gl/HZeLhG
