The Only 4 Pairs of Mens Dress Shoe Styles You Need

The ONLY 4 Pairs of Men's Dress Shoe Styles You Need

I seem to like the number 4 lately, especially when it comes to men (no that doesn’t mean I have 4 men in my life, just one, and that’s plenty, thank you!). If you’ve been reading the blog, you’ll surely have read the 4 Best Menswear Brands of 2016 that’s been retweet nearly 450 times! It seemed to have really taken off with the folks on Twitter.

With clothes, you’ll inevitably need shoes. Unless you’re really stylish and know your basics off by heart, guys will need help identifying which pairs of mens dress shoe styles they need to have in your closet.

The ONLY 4 Pairs of Men's Dress Shoe Styles You Need

Most will probably opt for 1 or 2 mens dress shoe styles, one in brown and one in black, and that’s the end of it. While that’s a good start, it’s not enough. You might laugh at me and say, why do I need 4 mens dress shoe styles?

Why You Need 4 Mens Dress Shoe Styles

For practical reasons, wearing one or two throughout the year will destroy your shoes and you’ll end up having to buy a new pair every year. That’s not all, over-wearing the same pair will cause damage which means you’ll constantly have to polish it, so when you have to wear that same pair at a wedding, it looks worn out and un-classy.

Wingtip shoes

For aesthetic reasons, when you wear linen, or light cotton, or summer attire, brown and black mens dress shoe style tend to come across as too bold, therefore ruining the look. Don’t they say it’s the shoes that make the man (or is it the other way around, either, you need more than 1 or 2 mens dress shoe styles).

In addition, those same 1 or 2 mens dress shoe styles won’t necessarily match with everything, despite what most guys might think. Has it not ever occurred to you to see a man, so well put together but as soon as your eyeballs rolled downward, it was such a disappointing sight it turned you off? Ok maybe that’s a shallow moment, but as a fashionista, style means a lot to me and I know not everyone has the eye for it. Which is why I write what write. Bear in mind then when I say mens dress shoe styles it doesn’t only mean that they are to be worn at dressy or formal events, but these will be applicable to casual outings as well.

You’ll find that with the right variety, your wardrobe will be transformed and you’ll get more bank from your clothes as the same pieces can be morphed into different styles simply by changing the shoes.

Amazing Style, Amazing Quality

To make it easy on you, I found a brand that perfectly pairs all 4 mens dress shoe styles under their umbrella, providing amazing looks perfect for any man in an array of colours. Ace Marks makes their stylish, yet comfortable shoes with full grain leather and are crafted, dyed, and burnished by hand. The manual process gives each pair its unique characteristics by undergoing a rigorous inspection to ensure that every shoe is of the highest quality.

My favourite colour from the pack is the oxblood. It’s been trending for some time now, why not invest in a pair in that colour?? Which one is yours?
