When I first decided to write this article I was hesitant about which menswear brands to feature, and narrow my choice to the 4 best menswear brands. There are so many different menswear fashion brands out there so having to sift through all of them and decide which ones were the best seemed like a very difficult task as every brand is unique in their own way and they all bring something different to the fashion table. So, as lover of all things fashion and all the brands out there, I took the challenge on and did some research into the history of my favourite menswear lines to get a list of the bet menswear brands for this year.
Luckily, deciding on my top 4 brands was not actually as hard as I thought it would be so without a further or do here they are.
4 Best Menswear Brands of 2016 to Look Out For
Nana Judy
Launched as a men’s fashion label in 2006, Nana Judy has continually been setting fashion trends through its ever evolving collections. By winning deals with twelve of the best and most exclusive boutiques to stock their collections, along with a debut runway show with the new generation show at Mercedes Benz fashion week, Nana Judy were able to make a storming debut on the fashion scene.
The founder of the iconic Australian brand, Glenn Coleman, stated that the sole aim of the business is “to create our own designs while keeping aware of the current trends. We design fashion-forward collections and love taking risks with our design. We like anything but the norm.”
Cheap Monday
Menswear fashion has never been so iconic since the launch of the amazing Swedish brand Cheap Monday in 2000 by Örjan Andersson and Adam Friberg. Originally, this brand started from the bottom of the fashion spectrum as a second hand clothing store which only opened one day a week, on a Sunday which was the initial inspiration for the name.
This idiosyncratic design based global menswear brand only actually has 5 stand alone shops in the world – London, Copenhagen, Paris, Beijing and Shenyang.
St Goliath
No menswear brand can collaborate street into the fashion world in such a way as St Goliath can. This Australian born and bred brand, St Goliath are definitely one of the leading street wear trend brands. Their collections embrace the greatness of modern fashion and culture but with a timeless twist that emphasises the best part of menswear fashion – that it can be worn for more than one season and still look great.
St Goliath’s fashion really speaks for men across the globe by not compromising on three vital factors – comfort, masculinity and style. It definitely earned its spot on the best menswear brands list.
Academy Brand
The Academy Brand is the perfect brand for any surfer dude out there. Whether you are a lover of surfing or just love the style, this brand is definitely ideal for you.
The great thing that I love about this brand is that they have a completely different style to everyone else that emphasises the importance of relaxing on a beach.
That sums up my 4 best menswear brands. What are yours?

I agree that guys definitely need more fashion lists to help them shop. I will pass on your list to my husband (although I think his taste is slightly more conservative!) 🙂

I’m glad you share my perspective :). Many are but you can slowly start incorporating more avant garde pieces and they’ll get accustomed without even noticing 🙂
