For this weeks linkup, I’m presenting another men’s fashion round. I’m reviewing a great item I got in the mail some time I go that my husband can’t get enough of.
Fashionable techy shoes are not a typical pair I would go with for myself or my husband. I’m of the opinion that my shoes don’t need to be comfortable as long as they look good, unless they are runners. But that’s my opinion. As often as I’ve tried to impose it on my husband, my shoe dictatorship doesn’t always stand.
As a blogger, I am fortunate to be privy to products that may be new on the market or are seeking my expert fashion opinion. The awesomeness in this is I get to review products that I would have otherwise not known about. In most cases, I love the result and want to gloat about it.
What Can Fashionable Techy Shoes Do For You?
I’ve had the opportunity recently to test out the SoftScience Terrain Ultra Lyte men’s booties on my husband. The result? Not what I expected, let me tell you. Here’s what you’ll get with these fashionable techy shoes:
Comfort level: Ultra comfy fashionable techy shoes
My husband told me they are very comfy, you barely feel these fashionable techy shoes on your feet. The only downside, they are a pain to put on the first few times until the high lace up top loosens up. After that, you’re good to go in a jiffy!
Fashion sense: Yes, stylish too
If I were to make my selection again I would go with the camo version of these fashionable techy shoes but given that I wanted a pair that would appeal to my husband without deterring him too far away from something he may benefit from, I chose a more generic option; black. You can’t go wrong and I was sure it would match everything he has. Don’t get me wrong, in comparison to most husbands, mine is still considered stylish. He may not agree to everything I present to him in terms of fashion but here he did.

Durability: Toughed through the snow
Indeed they were so durable that even when it dumped 26 cm of snow on us a couple of weeks ago, my hubby still wore them. He continued wearing them long after until I said maybe you need to take out your winter boots to ensure the salt doesn’t get in too deep onto your new fashionable techy shoes.
If you’ve ever lived through Canada’s brutal winters, you know that snow is a killer to all. It’s not worth it to buy a nice car because the salt will ruin it, same goes for shoes, coats, mitts, etc., even your hair (unfortunately you can’t just buy another one here, you just need to protect it). So when my hubby kept wearing his SoftScience fashionable techy shoes in the snow, I got worried. Surprisingly enough, they remained in pretty good condition and didn’t accumulate salt residue! You can even see in the photos. Wow! That’s a definite unexpected plus!
