Hope everyone had an wonderful New Year’s and is ready to face 2016 with your BEST style!
Linkup News
I have some great news for my first post of the year. I’ll be Grace’s permanent co-hosting. Our link-up will be posted every Friday so let’s make it a date. I am very happy about this news – a great start to the new year.
To celebrate the new partnership and the New Year, Grace is running an amazing giveaway. Be sure to check it out and give her a shoutout on her blog for her purrrfect outfit.
The focus of the outfit today, is not me. Nope! I’m passing the limelight on to my hubby so we can get some male outfit looks on the blog coming from real life men. You’ll see him rocking his subscription tie and socks.
What’s in for Men in 2016
Apparently velvet, seventies pants, fifties shirts, and oversized coats, are some of the trends. I can assure you that while it would take my hubby a while to warm up to them, he doesn’t look anything short of stylish in his purple outfit.
Tie Subscription
One thing that’s on trend that’s hitting us like a wave are the subscription boxes. Recently, Tie subscription service Tie it On sent me a tie and a pair of socks to try. I eagerly opened the package to find a beautiful jacquard lilac tie with matching striped socks.
The tie subscription service is a new venture for founder David Norman. When you subscribe, you get a tie, a bow tie, a pair of socks or heck even all 3.
Their tie subscription services Facebook and Instagram pages focus mainly on style and pop culture. They’re not just used for extra product placement. Their goal is to put a little awesome in your mailbox every month goal is to put a little awesome in your mailbox every month.
They have different tie subscription packages that start from $18 per month and go all the way up to $72. Designer brands such as J.Crew, Pierre Cardin, Express, and more available as a service option.
The Advantages
I found the one we got was a classic piece that matches many shirt patterns and really paired well with the socks. Having a tie subscription service takes the male wardrobe dilemma of not having a tie and socks to match a shirt or suit out of the equations.
Plus for a great price you get a high quality and a wide variety that you would have otherwise required to pay much more for. It’s one way to stay on trend with what’s in for men’s neckties.
The Jest of it
Tie subscriptions are a great incentive for guys who don’t like shopping, who’s taste isn’t all that great and prefer to have things picked out for them, and those that don’t have time to spend strolling the brick and mortar or online malls. So do them a favour and them a tie a subscription.
I leave you with one of my husbands tie subscription ties from my Instagram feed. Check it out and let me know what you think of it.

I don’t usually think about men’s fashion too often, but this is a great idea for the man who dresses up each day! Would have been a great gift idea!
