November is almost out of sight and as Christmas is starting to creep up on us, so is the need to starting buying or at least thinking about, that ideal Christmas gift
Some people find the prospect of Christmas shopping daunting. Others (normally the minority) thrive in the busy environment of huge, busy shopping centres and have their Christmas lists drawn up months in advance with a separate bank account at the ready.
Most of us tend to sit somewhere in the middle of these two extremes. While we don’t mind purchasing gifts for loved ones, it’s the hectic and busy Saturdays mornings running around shops packed full of other eager Christmas shoppers that we don’t like so much.
Finding the Ideal Christmas Gift
I for one, find my problem lies in the inspiration for the ideal Christmas gift. I like my gifts to have meaning, be personal and be something that the receiver will actually really like. Over the past couple of years I have opted out of the crazy hub of shopping centres and chosen sitting in my lounge with slippers on, tea by my side and laptop on my knee instead. Online shopping is just a God send for buying the ideal Christmas gift and has made my life significantly easier.
Fingerprint Charm Jewellery
However, whilst physically buying the ideal Christmas gift is made a lot easier via online shopping, deciding what to buy a loved one is still just as hard. This year I’ve decided to go for a more sentimental approach. I am looking into personalised jewellery. Something that has particularly caught my eye is fingerprint charm jewellery. Fingerprint charm jewellery comes in an array of styles and is for a wide demographic.

Personalised Jewellery for All
For men, there are leather fingerprint designs and cufflinks, for children there are necklaces or key rings and for women there are necklaces, bracelets and fingerprint rings.

After discovering my fascination with these beautiful items, I then went on to find a fantastic website called ‘Hold upon Heart’ who specialise in crafting fingerprint charms and fingerprint rings. My mother lives far away and despite how close we are, we rarely get to see each other. Thus she seldom gets to see her grandchildren. I thought that the ideal Christmas gift for my mother this year would be to get her fingerprint rings of each one of my kids.
Effortless Fingerprinting
I thought that getting a 1 year old’s fingerprint onto a ring would be an incredibly difficult thing to do but in fact, ‘Hold upon Heart’ made it effortless. I was sent an easy pack with a mould in it and I simply pressed their fingers onto the mould and then sent it back – could not have been easier!
I was thrilled with the end result and cannot wait to give my mother this ideal Christmas gift.
