Advice on Fashion, Beauty, Fitness, Home Décor & DIY

Trending Android Apps to Save Your Day

August 26, 2015 · Decor/Craft DIY, Fashion, Home Décor

With a multitude of Android apps that surface daily, it’s hard to know which ones to go for.

Trending Android Apps to Install

Here’s my trending Android apps to have to make your day function better.

Pocket

When you can’t get an internet connection, pull out your Pocket App to read all the websites and watch the videos you’ve saved for a rainy day. This free app allows you to save articles, news stories, blog posts, videos and more so you can read and watch when you’re offline. It synchronises your saved articles across all linked devices. Pick up where you left when you’re on the plane, outdoors, or underground.

Snapspeed

Snapseed is Google’s free photo editing app. It’s one of the best tools and trending Android apps you can get for your device to serve the purpose. Edit your photos and make them look better than ever before by manually tweaking them or letting Snapseed do all the hard work. Settings such as Auto Correct as well as a number of ready to use filters and effects make fixing images really easy.

LastPass Password Manager

It’s safe to say that most of us have different passwords for our various online accounts. While this is more secure way than the traditional same password for all, it can be a frustrating and hard to remember each one. Thankfully, there is the “forgot password” link, which is one way of beating the forgetfulness. Yet a more efficient way is to use LastPass Password Mgr Premium. It’s a one of the trending Android apps that manages all your passwords. It makes it real simple to sign in, while also remaining completely secure. It’s $12 a year for the premium package.

Keep Shopping

The Keep Shopping app is the world’s first mobile universal shopping cart that allows you to purchase from any brand or store all in one checkout. Browse Keep’s curated products or check out the entire web to find what you need. You can add any product from any store to the same cart and do it all under one transaction.

Design*Sponge

The Design*Sponge website has, after many requests, created a mobile app where you can easily access instructions to DIYs and makeovers. Look for decor inspiration to help you plan your rooms and what you like at home.

Timeshop

If you like digging up old precious memories, Timehop is a wonderful app for that. Link it to whatever social media services you regularly use, and it pulls up what was happening years ago on today’s date. Almost like Facebook’s timeline but you don’t have to keep scrolling to get there and it’s more precise.

Solitaire Recamier

When talking of the past, we can never forgo the future. If you want to know how your life will turn out days, months, or a year from now, Solitaire Recamier is a great app for that. It’s a one of the new trending Android apps out there.

Solitaire Recamier is a simple game composed of a deck of cards, each with images that foretell your fate. The cards shuffle and then settle. Two cards meet and form an image. Then the value appears beside it predicting your fate.  You can ask questions such as:

  • “What will happen tomorrow?”
  • “What are the hidden thoughts of my partner?”
  • “Will I get this job or not?”

I tried it for my future and one of the answers to my question turned out true!! While you may not always want to know the truth, it is fun to try out and see what comes out of it. A great game to play with friends and try to maybe guess the answer before it shows up in the cards. Try it! It’s pretty fun!

Check out these apps and let me know your throughts in the comments. If you have anymore trending Andoid apps, don’t forget to let me know by writing in the comments below. Have fun!!

The Trucker convoy is still going strong and sprea The Trucker convoy is still going strong and spreading around the world. The trump cheerleaders found themselves another excuse to occupy institutional buildings and the cities that house them. While I too am fed up of the mandates, I don’t believe their plights are justified. Yes it’s frustrating the flip flop between closures and reopening, and while they are implemented at times to limit the spread as to alleviate the strain on the healthcare system, as annoying as they are, I don’t think it’s a reason to be shouting freedom on parliament hill, harassing residents or blatantly displaying racist symbols and rhetoric. For the most part, mandates are not stopping anyone from living, going out, even travelling! They’re a temporary inconvenience to our daily lives, but in due time, will be lifted as COVID becomes more manageable. This isn’t the worlds first go around at a pandemic. Each round takes time to return things back to normal…Just go back to 1918 to see what happened…were those public health measures still in effect 5 or 10 years later?? My heart goes out to businesses and employees whose livelihoods have suffered, especially as gov assistance winds down. But like all trends, major events force humanity to readapt (think automation). Vacancy rate has been at an all time high and unemployment back to pre-pandemic levels, proof that many employees and businesses have retooled and transformed. If those convoys feel strongly about protesting, they should protest for healthcare reform. Canada is ranking as the worst in the G7 for healthcare. Our system is riddled with administrators, not enough doctors or nurses. Caps are put in residency spots and foreign trained healthcare workers waste expertise on low-skilled work as they’re deemed “not good enough” to work in the Canadian healthcare system…now that’s something worth shouting freedom for! Swipe left for more.
