Sustainably knitted from fine yarn, Stulpino slips over the heel of any high-heeled shoe and fastens around the ankle. The built-in elastic band gives you a snug fit around any heel type. Despite the Kickstarter project funding didn’t meet its requested amount, I still wanted to share information about this innovative idea. On Kickstarter, backers were able to pledge and obtain rewards at different pledge levels range. They could have their name used to inspire a future design or receive packs of multiples in every available colour. All funds were going towards the design and manufacture of Stulpino. The company was aiming to develop a sustainable manufacturing process. That way they can produce Stulpino in large quantities at low prices.
