Every woman, no matter how big or small her shoe collection, has had the experience of just not having the right shoes for an occasion. Good quality, stylish shoes are expensive. The right shoe can make or break an outfit. For a formal affair or job interview, it is a big consideration.
Finding the right balance between cost, versatility, and style can be very difficult. That’s why Stulpino, came up with an innovative solution to get more out of your shoes without spending much. When a friend faced a fashion crisis with a broken pair of dress shoes, Glueck, designer of Stulpino, came up with a knitted heel accessory that can dress up any pair of heels. It adds colour and texture to the heel. Stulpino helps protect the heel of your shoes from scuffs and scratches. Give your most loved shoes a longer life and save on repairs. A modern lifestyle that includes driving, sitting at your desk, using stairs or revolving doors will find Stulpino a must have accessory.
Founded by Simona Glueck, Stulpino’s team has over 12 years experience in contract manufacturing. Stulpino aims to enable women to experiment with their fashion in unique ways. They are dedicated to:
Making of The Accessories
Sustainably knitted from fine yarn, Stulpino slips over the heel of any high-heeled shoe and fastens around the ankle. The built-in elastic band gives you a snug fit around any heel type. Stulpino fastens with a strap that buttons up. Choose a same or contrasting colour button to add even more elegance to your style. Designed in a variety of colours, you can affordably make neutral shoes coordinate with any outfit. Just add the slip to your shoe and you instantly have a pop of colour.
Despite the Kickstarter project funding didn’t meet its requested amount, I still wanted to share information about this innovative idea. On Kickstarter, backers were able to pledge and obtain rewards at different pledge levels range. They could have their name used to inspire a future design or receive packs of multiples in every available colour. All funds were going towards the design and manufacture of Stulpino. The company was aiming to develop a sustainable manufacturing process. That way they can produce Stulpino in large quantities at low prices.
