When your outfit is overly accessorized, it really takes away from your look and becomes confusing.
Balance Your Outfit
When I say over accessorize I don’t mean too much jewellery. I mean too many elements to your outfit. You know when your girlfriend tells you “you got too much going on girl!!!” Yeah, that kind of overly accessorizing.
Learn how you can balance your outfit so it’s more appealing, simpler and have much more to it, without actually having more on.
Overly Accessorized
We’ve got too many pieces playing in the outfit above. We don’t know what to concentrate on, whether it should be the shoes, the belt, the tank top. Lots of details in each piece as well is not helping.
Shorts and leggings? Girls make your pick, it’s one or the other. If you insist on covering your legs, wear FOOTED tights and leave the outfit for a cold rainy day or winter time, because that won’t jive for summer. It’s too hot!!
The belt and the sandals aren’t blending well and the shirt is too innocent for the rest of the outfit.
The Outfit Fix
I’ve chosen a looser top since we’re tight on the bottom. You want to look like a fashionista, not a trashinista!
And I just HAD to remove those shorts (that felt good!! lol).
The high heal sandals were switched for pair of peep-toe crystallized flats, it seemed to even out the look a lot more than the high heels and are super trendy.
I added a silver bracelet to accentuate the look. Again, no need to go crazy on jewellery. The top has a big print that’s eye catching and should remain as the focus of the outfit. Everything else should help be remain in that position.
The hair was pulled to the side to soften up the ensemble.
So what do you think of the outfit overhaul?? Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments 🙂
