I’m sure you are all thinking of what to get your precious daddy in celebration of Father’s Day. For me, useful gifts are always great for dads as they tend to like more practical things. Last year I wrote a post with ton of useful gifts for dad. While there is a list as long as Santa’s of useful gifts for dads, I’m honing on a few that I particularly like and find quite useful for any dad out there.
Make sure you enter my Father’s Day gift giveaway courtesy of Sir Wylde. It contains a beautiful blue floral print tie with a handkerchief that can double as a pocket square. Best of all, it’s all made in the USA!
Useful Gifts for Dads
#1 – Tie & Accessories Subscription
Give the gift that completes his look, month after month. Dads deserve to look stylish too!
How can you help the special man in your life dress for success? The Tie Fix is a subscription tie and accessories box service that, for a monthly fee of $14.99 or a prepaid subscription of $149.99 per year, will have your poppa looking sharp and stylish all year long. Each month, dad will receive a box containing:
two ties; and
two accessories, either :
- socks
- bracelets; or
- cuff links
…that are hip, fashionable and professional. He’ll never have nothing to wear again!
#2 – Reversible Pocket Square
Pocket squares are such a hit that it’s a shame if your dad isn’t sporting one yet. Make no mistake, it is no longer just for the dressy men. This accessory can be paired with casual outfits just as much as with formal ones. With the wedding season here, your dad will likely need more than pocket square to wear.
What better of solving this problem than with the Reversible pocket square which has a unique fabric on each side. He can wear it on one side one day and the other on the next. This cool accessory was featured on Capital Hill Style on my cool long time friend Nic Richer Brûlé.
He can even have both sides showing too! It’s a versatile piece entirely handmade with repurposed fabric making is eco-friendly.
#3 – Fishing Shoes
Dad will love you for this. I know this because my husband has a pair of shoes from Soft Science that he adores. You can check out my review in this post.
A sturdy lightweight lace-up water shoe with a self-draining system and a mesh upper, the Fin watermen’s shoe dries quickly. It’s superbly cushioned and stable, woven with a breathable microfibre upper. Ideal for fishing and boating enthusiasts, surfers and beachcombers, it holds its grip on slippery surfaces—in the water and out. It has a sturdy lace-up fishing shoe. It’s a relaxed fit that contains removable, washable Trileonâ„¢ insole, which is non-marking, and a slip-resistant outsole.
#4 – Wrinkle Releaser
This is a product I featured on  the blog last year. If your old man like to wear shirts or is still in the workforce and likes his dress shirts to be crisp without having to spend a fortune on dry cleaners, Cold Iron Mojito Wrinkle Releaser by Natural Citizen is definitely one of many useful gifts for him.
This wrinkle releaser is made from plant-based ingredients and features natural fragrance that smells like a Mojito! Simply spray some on, smooth and hang, and wrinkles disappear from just about any garment in a matter of minutes.
#5 – Folding BBQÂ Multi Tool
This Restoration Hardware folding tool is a five-in-one essential for BBQs, picnics, tailgating and camping.
The rugged stainless-steel marinade brush, spatula contains an embedded bottle opener, serrated knife and fork extend to full length. I’m sure your dad already has this tool in his useful gifts list.
#6 – 14-in-1 Hammer Tool
This Sheffield premium hammer tool is perfect for any of your handy needs around the house. While I might have to use Google Images to understand three quarters of the items it include, this highly useful gift is also great to bring along to camping, fishing, or hunting trips.
This multi-tool includes:
- Hammer head
- Nail claw
- Linesman pliers
- Regular pliers
- 1/4″Â slotted screwdriver
- 1/8′ slotted screwdriver
- #2 Phillips screwdriver
- 2 1/2″ drop point blade
- 2″Â serrated blade
- Can opener
- Wire cutters
- Wire stripper
- Soft file
- Key ring
#7 – 3-in-1 Bottle Opener and Sealer
Another useful gifts hit list item is the 3 in 1 Hermetus bottle opener and sealer.
Manufactured in Germany, this bottle opener and sealer opens pop-off and twist-off bottle caps, and features a soft plastic gasket on the underside capable of hermetically re-sealing bottles and maintaining critical CO2 levels. It’s perfect for bombers bottles.
#8 – iPhone 6 Case
The exquisitely crafted Graham iPhone 6Â case is made from soft yet durable brown leather, which will patina over time, becoming a deep, rich saddle colour.
It also doubles as a wallet holding important cards and cash. Dad definitely has this item on his useful gifts list! Make it extra special and get it monogrammed in foil or blind-debossed for FREE!
