It’s so exciting to be hosting my second link-up today. I had so much fun last time that I decided to co-host again. I’ll also be bringing you another versatile holiday gift idea that I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
Second Link-up Party
Before I dive into my subject, I am now hosting my second link-up in just as many weeks. Yey!! It’s been such a fun experience that this week I’m co-hosting with a new blogger friend Elizabeth from Lizzie in Lace.
Check out her post, her outfit is super duper cute (as always), and she’s got an amazing blog. Don’t forget to link up your post below and check out some of the other people that linked up. Comment and share on their post to read the love, because guess what, it will come back to you.
2014 NYE Outfit
Here I am featuring an outfit I wore to last year’s NYE. It had been nearly 4 months since I delivered my third child so I was ecstatic at losing all the weight. I was able to bring it a notch further and really tone up, drop another 12-15 pounds and truly get the body I’ve always worked hard to get.

I wore a Valérie Dumaine black silk jumper topped with a sequins jacket (not really visible in the image).

I’ve had this jumper for years and I find it still trendy. It was a sample I bought off the designer as she no longer had any in my size. I absolutely love it.

The jewels are from Stella & Dot. They were pieces I bought at my Hostess party. Classic pieces that I’ll be wearing forever 🙂
The bondage shoes you see there are my own DIY work. You can tune in soon to find out how I made them.
Lost all of the Baby Weight & Then Some
If you want to know, tune in soon to my blog because I will be releasing my step by step process with the foods I ate.
Ok…on to the meat of the article.
Perfect Gifts
Obviously like many of you, I’m on the hunt for the perfect gifts. We are bombarded with that lately, since it is the season. I even bombard myself of it in my own blog. But it’s necessary. I’ll tell you why.
You need all sorts of gift guides because clearly, you have more than just one individual to buy for. While all gift guide lists out there (I’m not excluded) claim to have a one stop shop for everyone on your very long list, let’s face it, it’s not. It bay cover it for one, two, three people before you gotta go around looking for another list. And that’s fine because that means people will go browsing through other blogs and stopping by to see what amazing things (even if it’s one ur two) you have lined up for them.
Funky Scarves by Front Row Society
I’ve already talked about the fingerprint ring earlier this week. I’ve also chatted you up about all the Black Friday deals that were swarming the web. I also talked about gifts that give back and my last but not least my last minute gift ideas that went viral on StumbleUpon (yeah not sure how it happened but I ain’t complaining).
Today I’m bringing you the perfect gifts for the fashionista friend, co-worker, DIY-lover, your sis, heck she can be anyone you want. It’s these funky scarves from Front Row Society that I found on my new shopping hot spot Awra.

They come in a multitude of colours and start at about $24 a pop as they’re currently on sale. Not bad given the quality and the originality of the print.

They are light weight but will still keep you warm for the upcoming winter (and if you live in Canada, that’s already arrived a ling time ago…hence why our Thanksgiving is in October…lol). Some are made of cashmere, some silk an others of viscose (similar to cotton feel).

I think what I like most about them and makes me love getting them as a gift (in case you’re thinking of getting me something ;)) is the print of these funky scarves. In fact, it’s what makes them funky scarves. Lots of ombrés going on, some galaxy explosion print, nature and abstract prints as well.

The colours are so vibrant and alive, these funky scarves are sure to match anything you have, or since we’re talking gifts, anything the recipient would own. That’s a huge plus! You’re sure they’ll wear it and not end up re-gifting it or returning it.

Which one is your fave??
