Stylish, fashion student Melanie Ralston (19 years old), and Christine Bronstein, founder of A Band of Women (39-ish years old), launched their online fashion blog, 39ninteen.com, in May 2013.

The beginnings of this adventures stems from a pact to embrace one another as family, between Christine and her closest girl friend promised to raise each other’s children as their own. When Melanie moved in to Christine’s home, she found herself wearing eerily similar outfits to Christine’s on a regular basis. This gave them the inspiration to reach out to the online world and post their ideas and love of all things in 39nineteen.com.
